Learning from Federer at 33

Came across an interesting article today on the success of Roger Federer at 33 (if we shift the yardstick of success from a grand slam win to five ATP titles and a tour-leading 68 wins during the 2014 season). Here’s the three things I gathered, which is very applicable for amateur players,

  1. Keep playing points in practice and in competition
  2. Win points quickly to avoid the baseline attrition game
  3. Be light, suck up your losses & move on
